What is the meaning of Earth Day?
Approximately 48 years ago, in the year 1970, twenty million Americans joined forces to protest against the negatives of industrial development to convey a vital message: the planet we live in sustains us, and thus we too must do our part and try our best to support it.
Fast forward to this year; Earth Day is a global event with over one billion people participating from over 192 countries. Via EarthDay
